Stroll through old Savannah, past the School of Art and Design, you find picture glass windows at the foot of a five story reclaimed warehouse building; ornamental street lights line the walk as you approach a hip little noodle bistro tucked in between Panera and FedEx – The Flying Monk Noodle Bar. Amongst the tiny tables are a mix of college students, curious tourists and sage locals. The service is welcoming, polite, informative and quick. Noodles are their thing; but, Pho is the house specialty.
Ah the Pho! Traditional bone broth with scallions, shaved onions, meatballs and brisket with a side of bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime and jalapeno peppers.

Inexpensive, comfort food in a hip fun-loving atmosphere. I’d go back for another bowl of the savory broth and noodles.
